*Busy Month!*

This one is my brother. Isn't he a good looking guy? He's single ladies! ;)

I know I have been slacking on my blogging duties and I'm sorry! November and December have been so crazy for me, that I just haven't had any extra time to do any blogging. I'm just glad that I'm *almost* done with all my Christmas sessions so that I can take a much-needed BREAK!!

I decided that I'd just share some photos of some of my latest sessions. Of course I don't have time to share photos from each session taken or I'd be on here all night. But, it will give you guys something to look at since I haven't posted new photos in awhile.

*Rambunctious Brothers*

Whew! These little boys sure made me WORK! They had me running around in circles the entire shoot. They were such happy little boys though and definitely full of energy. I don't know how their mom even attempts to keep up with them. She even has another little boy on the way!

*Beautiful Sisters*

These 2 little girls were so sweet and so well behaved. It was a nice change of pace to have some kids who listened so wonderfully! The little one was a bit shy at first, but once she saw her sister posing for the camera, she decided that she needed to be a part of it.

'Tis The Season....

For Family Photos!!

I have been extremely busy this month doing lots of family sessions for Christmas. I agree with all my clients that photos make the best gifts!!!

I decided to post a picture of one of my FAVORITE families....okay, so this happens to be my cousin's family. I love them so much! We are also great friends. They have always been there for Karson and I whenever we need them and we are so thankful that they are a part of our family.

Plus...how cute are they???

This first one is of Ty in his pin-striped suit. Isn't that just the cutest outfit ever? He really loved his shoes and made sure to keep pointing them out to Karson and I throughout the shoot. I was laughing so hard.

This is the whole family. You'll probably recognize beautiful Nevaeh since I just posted her 4 year old photos last week. You'd never be able to guess how hard it was to get both of the kids smiling and looking at the same time by this photo!

*What A Beauty*

The title says it all...I love this image. It's full of emotion and beauty. I've decided that smiles are totally over-rated. Some of my favorite images are serious natural expressions.

*Nevaeh's 4 Year Old Photos*

Nevaeh just turned 4, so she came in to get her photos done. She was actually really excited to be doing them which made my job a lot more fun and easy. Here is just a quick sneak-peek of 2 that I loved. Her eyes just POP!!! Isn't she a beauty?

*Little Chef*

Here is sweet little Zoey as a chef! Her mom wanted some like these so she could hang up a big one in her kitchen. How cute will that be?

She was pretty excited to have some big spoons to play with. I can't believe she is already 6 months old! I have been photographing her since she was in her mommy's belly.

*Price Increases*

I just want to let everyone know that I will be increasing my prices. The new prices will be effective starting December 1st, 2008.

If any of you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email at kamivoilesphotography@yahoo.com

Those of you that have photo sessions for the month of November will still receive the old pricing. Any photo session after December 1st, late orders, or add-on orders will be charged the new prices.

I am so thankful for all of my wonderful clients that make doing what I love possible. I am so excited for 2009 and all of the wonderful things it holds for my photography. Lots of new products and services will be coming for 2009 so stay tuned for the latest and greatest from Kami Voiles Photography!

Thank You!

*Stefan's Newborn Photos*

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted some photos from my recent sessions. The good thing is that I've been SOOO busy with doing photo shoots that I just haven't had the time to sit down and add the photos to my blog.

Here is little Stefan - he was such a wonderful little newborn! Just slept the whole time for me.

Getting newborns this sweet makes me very baby hungry! But then I just need a little one that screams the entire session to remind me how hard they really can be! lol.

*Twins*

Have I already told you how much I *LOVE* shooting newborn twins??? Oh my gosh, every time I do them I just get soooo anxious to get them all processed because I know that I am going to have the most gorgeous photos! I mean, as most of my clients know - newborns are my favorite sessions...but two beautiful new babies at once? Love it! I was really excited for this one because it's my first time doing a set with a boy and a girl. It was actually my easiest twin session yet (Not that twin sessions are ever really EASY! lol). Of course I can't share the entire session with you...but here are some favorites! It's so hard to choose which ones to share! :)

I was so excited when they showed up with this giant colorful catepillar to use in the photos! How stinkin cute is that??

This family photo is absolutely gorgeous. I was so excited when they decided to make this their LARGE picture to hang in their home. They are going to cherish having a shot like this forever!! I know I would.

*Pauline's Bridals*

This is my friend Pauline. We have been friends since 1st grade! I was so excited when she called me to ask me if I'd do her bridals. It was so much fun catching up with her and hanging out again. It's crazy how you can go a long time without seeing an old friend and then once you spend time together again, it feels like high school was just yesterday! We had a blast!

Isn't she just BEAUTIFUL?

Only one to share for now :) One of my favorites!

::: Nicole :::

Here is one of my 2009 high school seniors who came all the way from Wyoming to do her senior photo shoot. She has the cutest, bubbliest personality! We had so much fun during her photo shoot. I love all the images that were captured and can't wait to show her how beautiful she looks! Thanks for choosing me to be your photographer Nicole! You were a blast!

This is a new collage we are offering to our high school seniors - it's a vector art collage. Really fun and modern! I love it!

*Skyler*

I wanted to share a couple of photos of Skyler. She is actually a twin, but her sister did not want anything to do with the photo shoot so we ended up with just a lot of great pictures of sweet little Skyler. We will be doing a reshoot of her sister though, so I'll be sure to share those as well. Again, here is my cute new zebra chair. She is also in the blue tutu and bow that I made. The color looks beautiful on her. I love the mood of the photo with her looking down.

*Kendallyn*

Here are a couple of photos from Kendallyn's 1 year photo shoot. She definitely made me work for it! But we got some really cute photos. I was so excited to use my new zebra chair. I've used it for every photo session with girls since I got it! I just love it!

*Shelby's Bridals*

Just one to share for now....my favorite from a bridal shoot I did last week. My cousin is getting married and this is his lovely bride to be.

*Cooper's Sneak-Peek*

Here are some photos of Cooper. His mom has been begging for a sneak-peek...so here it is Kacy! :) Just a little bit of a teaser for you until I get the rest of them done.
Cooper was pretty used to standard poses so it took him a little while to get used to the way I shoot. He found out really quick that I am nothing like Kiddie Kandids! We had a really great time doing the photo shoot! Thanks so much for coming Kacy. I've loved working with both of your kids.

This last one is what I like to call a Jesse McCartney pose ;)

*Jaymn's Sneak-Peek*

This is Jaymn. He was one of my boy rep models that came in for a photo shoot. Oh my gosh! He was such a blast to work wtih. He has the cutest personality and as you can see he is SOOO photogenic. I didn't want to stop taking photos of him. It was so cute because when I told him that he was all done, he actually wanted to do more pictures. He was having a fun time. That makes me happy. I want the kids that come in to enjoy their photo shoot and not look at photos as a dreadful thing.

His mom definitely knows how to dress him in style. We did so many super cute outfits! So here are a few favorites...there are SOOO many more though, so I just might have to share another time.

Thanks so much for brining him Rebecca. I had a great time working with both of you. You know I'd love to have him back ANY time.

*Thank You*

I just want to say Thank You to all of the boys that have come and modeled for my search and for all the boys that I still have scheduled to do their shoot. I appreciate such a great response and all the cute new faces to add to my portfolio! The model shoot for ages 5-11 is now closed.

I know I said I was going to do the younger boys at the end of September but it looks like it will be more in the middle of October now. I will post a search here soon to let you all know.

Thanks so much!!

*Boy Model Search*

I know you have all been waiting for my boy model search to begin. I am now ready to start accepting some boy models! I am going to split the ages for this search since it's going to be done much differently than my girls. My first search will be for boys ages 5-11. Now, I will not be providing clothing for these shoots but I am being very specific on the style that I am looking for. This does not mean that you need to go out and buy new clothes for the shoot - most of the styles can be put together by things you already have. If you have an idea for a style and aren't quite sure if it's what I'm looking for - please just take a photo of the outfit and email it to me. I'd love to see some different looks put together.

Here is one example of the style I am looking for:

I want funky layered clothing - things can be mismatched - it's the style now. I love blazers or suit jackets mixed with jeans. Some examples of jackets I like:
This particular brown curdoroy blazer was found at gap.com: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=8634&pid=580823

This black pin-striped suit jacket was found at Walmart: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8129979 It would look great with a t-shirt underneath and some dark washed jeans.

A Rocker T-shirt such as this one above found at Old Navy: http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=41803&pid=577953&vid=1 would go great underneth a black jacket.

Vests such as the one above found at Old Navy: http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=5978&pid=594532&scid=594532002 would also look great for this shoot.

I also love sweater vests (you can find almost anywhere) with a long sleeved button-up shirt - the shirt left untucked showing at the bottom of the vest.

I also would love hats for this shoot...Baseball hats turned to the side are always stylish as well as beanies. I also really love this hat below found at the Gap. http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=33830&pid=580091

I really like this #8 baseball hat from The Children's Place http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=481616&langId=-1&exp=n&catTree=26601,26693,26880&clearance=0

I am not too picky on the pants - I do like the washed look more than others. I'd prefer not to have them in tight jeans (I know that's becoming more and more the style) Loose-fitting jeans will go much better with the look I'm trying to acheive.

Hopefully this gives you an idea of what it is I am looking for. Again, should you have any further questions, please contact me.

HOW TO ENTER YOUR CHILD

1. Send an Email to kamivoilesphotography@yahoo.com

2. Include the following info in your email:

*child's name & age

*Your name, phone number, city & zip

*A photo of your child (just a snapshot is fine)

*a description of the outfit or outfits that you plan to bring to match this style

I will be accepting 2 boys from each age for the photo shoot. I may do some in studio and some at an urban location outdoors. All sessions with either take place at my studio in West Haven or an outdoor location nearby (ogden area). Please contact me if you have any additional questions.

WHAT MY MODELS RECEIVE

You will receive a free photo shoot ($50.00 value) and 1 free 8x10 of your favorite photo from the session. You are welcome to purchase additional photos but are not expected or required to.

I will be running my model search for the younger boys in September.

I can't wait to see what kind of outfits you come up with! Thanks so much!
